Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the QuiteLeads browser extension and this website collect, where that data lives, and what we do and do not do with it.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

DRAFT FOR REVIEW — this policy was written to describe how QuiteLeads actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a qualified professional check it before you publish, especially if you sell to customers in the EU, UK or California.

The short version

The extension runs inside your own browser. Leads you collect are stored locally on your device, not uploaded to a QuiteLeads server. We do not sell, rent or share the prospect data you collect.

Data the extension stores on your device

When you use QuiteLeads to collect prospects, the extension saves the results in your browser's local storage so you can review, filter and export them later. This can include:

  • Business or profile names
  • Publicly listed websites, email addresses and phone numbers
  • Public social profile handles and links
  • Locations and categories shown on the source page
  • Your saved audiences, message templates and pacing settings

This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to QuiteLeads. Clearing the extension's data, or uninstalling the extension, removes it.

How collection works

QuiteLeads only acts when you tell it to. It reads the page you have open, in the browser session you are already signed in to, and collects what is publicly visible there. It does not ask for, store or transmit your passwords, authentication tokens or API keys for any third-party platform.

Outreach actions

When you run outreach, the extension performs actions in your own browser using your own signed-in accounts. Messages are sent from your account, subject to the pace and limits you configure. QuiteLeads does not send messages on your behalf from any server of ours.

Account and billing data

If you purchase a licence, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive the information needed to issue and support your licence, such as your email address and purchase details. We do not receive or store your full card number.

This website

This site is hosted on WordPress. Standard server logs may record IP addresses, browser type and pages requested, which is ordinary web-server behaviour used for security and troubleshooting. If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you.

Your responsibilities

The prospect data you collect is data about other people and businesses. You are the controller of that data. You are responsible for using it lawfully, including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA and any other rules that apply to you, and for honouring opt-out requests from people you contact.

Your rights

Because prospect data lives on your device, you can view, export or delete it at any time from the extension. For any personal data we hold about you as a customer, such as your licence email, you can ask us to access, correct or delete it.

Third parties

QuiteLeads is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Yelp, Clutch or Contra. Using the extension on those platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
